Norris Lake, Georgia

There's always something happening at Norris Lake.  New Years Eve is celebrated by fireworks from many.  Twice a year Matheny Park is home to a Blues Concert and fishing tournament.  Neighbors can enjoy music while their kids play and feast on local favorites prepared my neighbors.   Easter is celebrated with a visit from the Easter Bunny at Norris Lake Presbyterian Church.   On the Fourth of July several neighbors get together to host a spectacular fireworks display that lasts for over an hour.  Halloween is a party for many neighborhood kids who enjoy the haunts and candy provided by homeowners.  In early December the NLCA hosts a Boat Parade.  Close to Christmas Norris Lake Presbyterian Church hosts childrens events that include a visit with Santa.  On Christmas Day Santa can usually be seen skiing across the chilly water for all to see.
