Norris Lake, Georgia

Norris Lake, located outside of Snellville, Georgia is a beautiful lake with a country setting.  The community, with close to 950 households, is a mere 30 minutes to Downtown Atlanta and Buckhead.  With nearly 100 acres in our private lake, homeowners can ski, swim, and jetski.  Boats of up to 20 feet are permitted on the lake, with gas engines.  The community also boasts a sand beach, several play and picnic areas, a boat launch, and fishing pier.  A junior olympic pool and tennis courts are also available for use by homeowners.  Lakefront homes in the area start at 200K.

Norris Lake began in 1936 as a fishing camp and nature preserve of only 30 acres.  Over the years acres have been added and the homes once used for weekends have become primary residence for most homeowners.  New homes and people joined the community to make it what it is today.
